 The Big Summer BBQ
The Hunts cluster group hosted their Big Summer BBQ on Sat 8th August. In it's 4th year, the event proved to be a real sizzler.The aim of the event is to provide an informal and fun way for cluster members to reach out and invite their family, friends and neighbours to a "church" event and hopefully get them connected.
Pauline & James Stevens kindly hosted the Big Summer BBQ at their house, Lodge Farm Cottage which makes a perfect setting for such an event. With marquees, hay bales and fairy lights it all looked idyllic. "It was a glorious Summer's day, the weather was sunny and warm. We had over 100 guests and everyone seemed to have a great time".
Music and entertainment were provided by several home grown artists from Kingsgate. There was also a prayer team, and a display area with leaflets, alpha invites, and the Kingsgate Newsletter for people to take home.
