The Journey - calling musicians or hosts

bus'The Journey'.  This is an exciting project with God at the head, being organised by Escalls Chapel, near Lands End.

As the Olympic Flame travels 8,000 miles, visiting Cambridgeshire and surrounding towns and villages across the UK, they will travelling in front of the Flame on an open top "praise" bus. The bus has kindly been donated by Baths Buses and will be repainted.

Their mission is to spread the word of Jesus' love to the nations and praying a blessing through the use of live worship music.  There will be many thousands of people who will line the route and the graphics on the bus will reflect the message of God's love.

In order for 'The Journey' to be successful they require bands, accommodation for a team of approximately six people and parking for the bus overnight.

On the 3rd July the Flame will be overnight in Peterborough and leaving the following morning finishing in Norwich.  It will also be  travelling to Cambridge on 8th July and finishing on that day in Luton.  If you are a musician, a great host or prayer warrior then they would love to hear from you. If you are thinking of participating please could contact them direct, but also let me know.

For more details of how you can be involved please visit their website which is www.thejourneyfromescalls.co.uk.

This project is being organised under the "More than Gold" banner which is a Christian organisation helping churches to mobilise and make the most of the opportunities presented to us with the coming Olympics. More details of Kingsgate's activities in support of the Olympics and More Than Gold will be coming soon.
