Why Pray?

Intercessory prayer is an extension of the ministry of Jesus through His body, the Church, whereby we stand in the gap:

Between God and humanity - for the purpose of reconciling the world to Him
Between satan and humanity - for the purpose of enforcing the victory of Calvary

Our prayers of intercession release Christ's finished work of intercession. Jesus is the Victor - we're the enforcers; Jesus is the Redeemer, we're the releasers. We are co-labourers with Christ - distributors of what He has aready accomplished.
