KingsGate Peterborough

Children at KingsGate

Matthew 18:5

‘Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me’.

Jesus

‘If the kingdom of God is to come in power we must start with the children and teach them from the very cradle’.

Martin Luther

‘The Lord is creating a generation of children who will be extremely spiritually sensitive and many will carry unusual leadership abilities. We must invest time, prayer and provision into this generation’.

Patricia King

At KingsGate Community Church our desire is to see a generation of children who are "God-Chasers" and "Nation-Shakers", who love God and are being equipped to impact "their world" and fulfil their destiny in God.

We aim to provide a safe, fun, caring place for the children at KingsGate Community Church, where they can meet God and be discipled in ways that are appropriate to their age.

 Sunday Services

Currently there are four groups for under 11yrs during our Sunday morning 9.15am and 11.30am services:

OUR VISION...

Relationship with God

Our desire is that the children discover God for themselves, make a decision to give their lives to Him, and develop an intimate friendship with Him.

The Word of God and Faith

We aim to teach the children that the Word of God is true. We want to cultivate a desire in them to read and apply the Bible to their lives. We want the children to grow in their faith and security in God, knowing that He can and will work in their personal circumstances.

Worship

We want to faciliate the children becoming passionate worshippers of God, providing an environment where they can freely and creatively express their love for Him.

The Holy Spirit

We want to see the children filled with the Holy Spirit, moving in the gifts, ministering in signs and wonders, and growing in the fruit of the Spirit.

Evangelism

We aim to encourage the children to ‘look outwards’, equipping them to be witnesses in their schools and local communities, as well as helping them develop a heart for the nations.
