We were born for such a time as this!

As God built the very heavens and the earth, and conceived His plan for the redemption of humanity, His thoughts were on Peterborough. In eternity He heard the cry of the young and the old, the impoverished and the rich, those of every colour, from every corner of the globe, and His heart was moved. He loved us before the foundations of the earth and put into action His salvation strategy, which spills over into this city, region and nation.

As time unfolds, God has placed each of us in this chapter of history, and this location for a reason. He scours the earth for hungry hearts, for people who will say “here I am, send me” and will partner with Him to make a difference in the world for good. Our desire is that God will find many such hearts here at KingsGate Community Church. Ordinary men and women, people like you and I, who have made themselves available and will allow God to do extraordinary things through them. People who recognise they have been saved for something far bigger than themselves, who will rise up to influence their surroundings for the Kingdom of God. Our dream, that began many years ago, of building a church that impacts the city, region and beyond, is becoming hundreds of other peoples’ experience today. As we look ahead and dream of what could be, over the next ten years, we hope you will join with us and play your part in making those dreams also become a reality.

Together let’s make the most of every moment, of every opportunity we have to serve the King and His Kingdom in this generation. And let’s leave a worthy legacy for those who are yet to come!
