Prayer
Prayer is a key value at KingsGate and we believe much of the favour and progress we have seen over the years is a result of our commitment to prayer in all that we do.
From the early days of the church we have invested in prayer and, as we grow and move forward, we want to continue on this foundation. We believe that when we pray in line with God’s word and His will, He hears us and answers!
There are a number of ways you can get involved with prayer at KingsGate:
The Prayer Shield
A prayer booklet that gives daily guidelines on what to pray over yourself, your family and the church. You can do this at whatever time and place suits you best (normally about 10-15 minutes each day). The Prayer Shield is available to download here, or can be obtained from the Information Desk on Sundays.
Pre-service Prayer
Please join us at 8.00-9.00 am in the Murray room at KingsGate every Sunday to pray before the services. Everyone is welcome!
100+ Prayer Team
Being part of the Prayer Team has truly transformed my walk with God. It has opened the gateway to my destiny – and I am loving it! Ade

A group of people who have a heart to pray regularly and strategically. They are committed to spending time weekly in prayer and intercession for others, KingsGate, the region, our nation and the nations.
As part of the 100+ team, about a dozen people, led by a Prayer Captain, pray together during the Sunday service. Every week, they also receive updates which are prayed for individually.
If you would like to become part of the 100+ Prayer Team please visit the Connect Lounge, or contact Jen Fay for more information.
Prayer and Fasting
Bi-monthly, we hold three days of prayer and fasting where we can seek God together. Prayer guidelines for the three days are published and are available on the Sunday before each fast.
Throughout the fast, we have daily prayer meetings at KingsGate for one hour at 6.30 am, 12.30 pm and 6.30 pm. On the Wednesday night we gather at 7.30 pm for an evening of worship and prayer, which are always powerful and dynamic – please come and join us!
