Compassion International is a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Through child sponsorship, Compassion helps more than 1 million children in 26 countries.
As part of the KingsGate mission to impact the nations, we are so excited to announce our partnership with Compassion Projects in Kolkata, India. As a church we want to see many people’s lives transformed in these communities, and our aim is to see many people within KingsGate partnering and committing to the Compassion Projects in Kolkata. We need your help to help make a difference in these communities by sponsoring a child. When you sponsor a child, you are linked with one particular child who will know your name, write to you, and treasure the thought that you care. He or she will pray for you often and write to you. Your monthly contribution of £21 per month will go towards:
- Food and clean water
- Medical care
- Educational opportunities
- Important life-skills training
- Most important of all, your sponsored child will hear about Jesus Christ and be encouraged to develop a lifelong relationship with God.
