The Beta Course
The Beta course is a powerful follow-on from the Alpha Course and is designed to help people grow in their faith by enabling them to develop key habits in their Christian walk.
The style of the course is interactive and relational, including short teaching slots from a range of excellent teachers, group discussions, worship, feedback, testimonies and fun!
The following topics are covered:
- Bible Study
- Prayer
- Faith
- Worship
- Guidance
- Loving each other
Who is Beta for?
This course will particularly benefit those who have completed the Alpha Course. However, any Christians who are new in their faith or want to strengthen the foundations of their walk with God would benefit and be inspired and equipped for their Christian life.
When and where?
Beta takes place on Sunday evenings from 6:45 pm – 9.15 pm, and runs over eight weeks and includes a Saturday session.
Our next Beta course in Peterborough is at KingsGate Community Church starting in January 2012.
Beta Stories:
The Beta Course has been revised and revamped this year, and the changes have been very well received. Here's some testimonies from those on the course:
"It refreshed some of my disciplines and took me deeper in my walk with God."
"He helped me find hidden things that had been locked away for years. He made me unlock all the bad that was stored within. I feel so alive now."
"I have grown in my understanding of God and prayed aloud in my small group for the first time."
"The course opened the Bible to me. I identified areas of concern in my life, some I knew of, some I didn't."
"I speak in tongues more freely. God spoke to me about the area in which I should serve in church."
How do I join The Beta Course?
