Prayer and Fasting
We hold a corporate fast every month as a church. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that is taught in the Bible. Jesus expected His followers to fast, and He said that God rewards fasting. Fasting gives you more time for prayer (when you would normally be eating), demonstrates the depth of your desire when praying for something, and releases God’s supernatural power to work in and through your life.

Prayer notes are available with key areas to cover in prayer for every fast each month, and are available for you to download on this page on the week of a fast.
At the close of every 3 Day Fast we hold a Corporate Prayer Meeting in the Auditorium here at KingsGate, with hundreds of us gathering together to pray and seek God. With worship, strategic prayer stations, opportunity for prayer for healing or to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, they are powerful evenings not to be missed!
