Discover+

Discover+ is a one year training and internship programme here at KingsGate Community Church. Combining both teaching and practical ministry opportunities, the year will help you develop a broad range of skills and assist you in pursuing whatever God has for you next in life and ministry.

We are committed to raising, training and equipping a leadership generation and believe you were 'born for such a time as this' (Esther 4:14).

Our passionate desire is that you would live a life of significance, reaching a lost and dying world with the transforming love of God.

It would be our pleasure and our privilege to host you as you commit a year of your life to God with us.

Programme elements include:

• Regular teaching/training
• Work experience within church department(s) in line with your interests and strengths
• Personal mentoring and discipleship
• Involvement in outreach/community action
• Opportunity for involvement in an optional short-term missions trip

Programme Timetable

Term one: 14 September - 18 December

Term two: 4 January - 2 April

Term three: 19 April - 16 July

Cost

There is no fee for the programme. You will have two days a week free to take up part time employment, as well as holiday leave at Christmas and Easter.

Should you wish to make use of the opportunity to serve on a mission trip you would need to provide your own finances for that.

You will be responsible for your own accommodation and living expenses, as well as any books or resources you may wish to purchase.
